Interesting place of Riga centre is Berga patio - area in inner yard between 3 streets, filled with shops, hotel, restaurant, sport centre, etc. But the most impressive, especially when illuminated, is this corridor which leads from patio to Čaka street.

The corridor looks very good. You managed to take an interesting photo from it. Are the shops there mainly upscale or not?
ReplyDeleteVery nice place.
ReplyDeleteI've found also your superb thread about Riga at skyscrapercity:) That's great that you decided to show your photos also here - at this photoblog. Riga.in really needs a good competition:)
Good luck. Regards!

I'd call it "Butter alley." Great yellow lit space - wonderful photo, Ikars!
ReplyDeleteThank you all!
ReplyDelete@Cristobal - Yeah, of course, shops there are not the cheap ones.
@m_m - I decided to create this blog for photos which mostly doesn't belong to my daily SSC thread concept where I show buildings, streets, etc.
@Leif Hagen - "Butter alley" is really great title for it, I'm up for that!
