Bus station
These screens are the recent addition to Riga bus station. Here they displays the New Year greetings ("Happy 2010!") but in everyday they shows information about departing times of next coming buses in each bus stop. Buses are the main public transportation vehicles in Latvia - railway, although it's a bit cheaper, has much less developed network and frequency. In Latvia, buses has around 200 millions passengers per year, while trains about 8 times less - 26 millions.
