Swedish Invasion

Swedes have been one of the most active investors in Latvia for the last 20 years. In the picture you see both highrises of Ķīpsala island now carries Swedish companies names - to the left you see famous Swedbank offices tower, to the right - on the facade of abandoned Soviet time highrise (once it was Press House) Swedish telecommunication company Tele2 continues their scandalous advertisement campaign which raised even global media interest last autumn, when they faked a meteorite fall in Northern Latvia.
