Old Town's cityscape
Old Town's cityscape between several churches located within 50 meter radius - St Peter's church, St John's church and former St George church. Here you see only a bit of St John's church (to the left), but to the right in the picture you see cafe "Pētergailis" ("Peter's cock"), named after St Peter's church which is located to the right.

That looks a nice town shot.
ReplyDeleteWow, so many churches in one spot. It speaks much of the history of the town.
ReplyDeleteI thought the name of the cafe was pretty funny. It sounded blasphemous at first read? lol :D
Haha, yeah, in English it really sounds blasphemous (even didn't noticed that), but not in Latvian, we don't use the word "cock" in THAT meaning :)
