Latvia is deciding it's future today

Today Latvia is electing it's new parliament. This elections seem to be much more important than others. As Europe Today writes: "Latvians chooses between Europe and Russia", New York Times: "Russian Party Gains in Latvia Amid Economic Bust". Even the president Valdis Zatlers yesterday made a speech in national television and appealed people to come to elections - first time when such thing happens before elections.
This picture I took in August, when pre-election campaigns had just started. Girls with "Vienotība" umbrellas and a small boy with "Par Labu Latviju" balloon standing next to each other - rather funny capture, if you know the political context - the two parties are harshest enemies in Latvian political spectrum.
