Foggy army parade
Sometimes a defect can turn into an effect - the thick fog and drizzling rain yesterday made the military ships on Daugava river behind Vanšu bridge barely visible and thus somehow spooky looking. However the fog made the disappointment to people who attended the army parade because NATO fighter F-15 didn't fly in such circumstances... On the pic below - people going away from military parade.

So we are parading for the anniversary of the defeat of the Pavel Bermont army?
ReplyDeleteIf that's you parade you get a good amount of people.
No, this was parade in honor of the 92th anniversary of Latvia. Latvia was proclaimed in 18th November of 1918 but the defeat of Bermont army happened almost year later - 11th November of 1919. These 2 dates with week interval can create a confusion :)
