Daily Photo Theme: Public Transport 4 - Trains

Trains aren't playing serious role in Riga public transport system. There are ideas to integrate them in PT similarly like S-Bahn in Berlin, because the existing rail infrastructure is quite extensive. Although currently people mostly use trains on intercity routes, some are moving with them also in city borders - if they happen to live close to one of rare train stops inside Riga. Trains themselves are from Soviet times still, once produced in Riga's train factory RVR which is still alive and now participating as a collaborator with Bombardier in the contest of new train purchase of Latvian Railway enterprise.
