Frosted trees around frozen canal
Cyrstal-frosted trees are very rare phenomenon in Riga centre. Even in those (also rare) days when trees are covered with frost in countryside or in outskirts of Riga, in centre parks they have only weak reflection of that most beautiful face of winter. In December, one day it was quite unusual frost on the trees - it looked almost in purple color. In Riga centre it was barely noticeable. This is view on Riga canal, park belt around Old Town. Check out the same view in summer.
