"Lido" restaurant

When I have to suggest some foreigners a place where to get good and not too pricey meal in Riga, I always think of "Lido". It's a restaurant chain serving (mostly) tasty Latvian dishes. Today I took oven baked potatoes, barbecued ribs, steamed cabbage and tasty rice-cream & strawberry dessert with coffee - it costed me about 10 Euros, but it can be 2 times cheaper (the ribs were very expensive). Sadly, "Lido" owner has came into financial troubles with bankruptcy process started, and in accordance to our laws, their restaurants will be still allowed to operate 5 years from now on. But then? I hope this business will somehow survive though, because it's really popular, both between locals and also visitors. Today all the huge eating-hall in "Vērmanītis" restaurant was almost full with people, it would be just stupid to close such business. Btw, "Lido" restaurants are also outside Latvia - in Tallinn, Vilnius, Minsk, Astana.
