Skywatch Friday: City skyline in winter's sky
Interesting winter's sky setting and Riga skyline from very unusual point of view - Purvciems. Old Town's spires can be seen from here too. This is my first post in Skywatch Friday - take a look some magnificent sky shots from other bloggers here: http://skyley.blogspot.com

ReplyDeleteBeautiful scene. Reminds me of the postcard i got from a friend living there before they move back to Australia.
ReplyDeletehappy weekend.
Great Skywatch Friday shot - it's almost seems as I can feel the coldnes ;-)
ReplyDeleteGolden sky and snow what a combination, nice pic.
ReplyDeleteWonderful capture of all the layers of history, commerce, architecture and daily life in your city. I worked at the law library at University of Chicago where Adolf Sprudzs was foreign law librarian--also from Riga. So it is a pleasure to see where he once lived.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the beauty!
Nice, I look at this view every single day, it's quite awkward to see this picture. Indeed, sunsets are incredibly beautiful here! :)
