In secondhand car market in Rumbula district you can buy yourself also an armoured car... One advantage is sure - you can feel quite safe even in a collision with truck. However, gasoline prices will kill you anyway with such a "car" :)

Sounds a bit expensive, I will stick to my bicycle! But it would be great fun to go for a test drive in that armoured car!
