Zatlers dissolves parliament
Latvia's president Valdis Zatlers made history this evening. He announced parliament's dissolution. It means we will have referendum (whether we agree to dissolution and the expected answer will be - yes) and then - new elections. Last elections we had just half year ago but the new parliament didn't live up to expectations. That's why many are euphoric about president's decision now, however only few try to think - what will follow? What our next parliament will look like, and the most important - is there any alternative?? I don't see it. New "superparty" should be created - out of only high-respected authorities. That would be only what could give meaning to this situation.
In the pictures you see - presidential castle (below) and president's and Latvia's flags (above).
