Švarcmuiža manor
Švarcmuiža manor is the birthplace of Āgenskalns historical district. Švarcmuiža manor was initially called Hagen manor and the word "Āgenskalns" has originated from it (it was initially called Hagensberg and then Latvianized). However this is not the original Hagens manor though; it was burnt down along with many others Āgenskalns buildings in 1812, when Napoleon army approached Riga.
