Magic of Ģertrūdes street
Riga has a few streets which are planned with a dominating end-points - churches. One of them is Ģertrūdes street which you see here and to my mind is great example of historical (20th Century beginning) urbanism. Of course, in order to make it look absolutely splendid, those buildings should be renovated but sadly it's hardly a priority for people (those who could afford it) here. See also Ģertrūdes street from other side (looking from the same church doorstep).
