Riga 810 Celebrations: Fire works

I guess one of the most challenging tasks for every photographer is to get good fireworks shots... And I couldn't accomplish it also yesterday, because I'm not perfectly satisfied with these pictures. Maybe the first is the best - but still those damn smoke are spoiling the view... How to fight with smoke in firework shots? Do you know some tool in Photoshop how to remove them and make clean and black night sky?
