Moscow House
I would like to thank to my blog's first financial supporter, a gentleman from Moscow! I really appreciate it - not only because of money, but also because I see there are people who really enjoy this blog! It warms my heart in an otherwise "cold" day :) Cпасибо!
As a symbolic "reward", I post today a picture of Moscow's House. It is building in Riga centre, Marijas street, which belongs to Moscow's government. Author of this idea was former Moscow's mayor Yury Luzhkov - to create a Moscow's Culture and Business centre in Riga, to promote cooperation between both cities. Formerly the building was Railway Culture House, it was reconstructed for new purpose in 2004. The building contains a cinema, concert hall, conference hall, bookshop and restaurant, as well as offices for Russian orientated NGA's. The Moscow House is also a centre for activities such as dancing, yoga, children's theater and other hobby groups.
If you would also like to donate to PhotoRiga, so at least I could cover the running costs of it - hosting, domain name, etc (right now it's a tough period for me financially) you are welcomed to do it in right upper corner, where is a Paypal donation button.
