The "real" Great China Wall - Ozolciema iela 18
Last week I reported here about some long buildings, but, as one of my readers pointed out, the longest one, knowing with nickname "Great China Wall" is located on Ozolciema street 18, in Ziepniekkalns district.
So, this with it's 350 metres could be the longest apartment building in Riga as well as the largest one, because if it would be built vertical, it would be 3 times as high as highest apartment buildings in Riga (Panorama Plaza II or Astra Lux).

I think it's difficult to find another like it in any city. In Madrid I believe there is not.

In a way, it is a beautiful building. I just find it hard to imagine what would happen if they all flushed the toilet at the same time? I suppose somebody would run out of water. √

I found these buildings very ugly. It's a shame that in Soviet Union was so low level of architecture.
