Jackie Chan's "Chinese Zodiac" | Džekijs Čans Jelgavā
Probably yesterday (probably because noone in general public knows it exactly) filming one scene of Jackie Chan's newest movie took place in Jelgava town (50 km from Riga). They wanted to use Aerodium vertical wind tunnel for shooting some skydiving episodes with Jackie (Aerodium is one of perhaps internationally most recognizable Latvian companies, they've built every fifth wind tunnel in the world). This scene in film will be only 2 minutes long, but the costs for it is 1 million USD. When millions in cinema theaters in all the world will watch the new movie, almost none will know that skydiving scenes is actually filmed in this place. [full_width]
