"Corner building" is a nickname for building on Brīvības street 61, which has a bleak history. In Soviet times, it was a KGB central office and probably the most feared place in Riga. People who were suspected as disloyal to Soviet power got imprisoned, tortured and murdered in it's cellars. [full_width]
