Hello, @fromMadrid, no, Alberta street hasn't got it's name from Alberta province in Canada! It was named after Bishop Albert, the founder of Riga.

Interesting how much could cost an apartment in some of those buildings? But it is true about tourists, it is one of the best places in the city to show.
