The "real" (or most common) Art Nouveau of Riga is much more austere than average tourist may associate with. Of course, it doesn't mean it's boring - would you call this building "uninteresting"? Buildings in National Romanticism, Vertical Art Nouveau and other styles are all over Riga centre. Čaka street 83/85 was built in 1909, the architect is one of leading architects of that time in Riga - Eižens Laube. [full_width]
