Castle of Light will soon be opened

The opening of new National Library will be one of main events in Riga and Latvia this year. I imagine it should be a great experience, to use all the modern options it will offer, to read valuable books, magazines, newspapers, searching internet databases while enjoying a view to Riga skyline which will be seen from it's windows. The building (despite doesn't looking as cool as presented in initial drawings) is a success of national contemporary architecture as well, as it is designed by world-famous Latvian architect Gunārs Birkerts.
