Daugavgrīva waste water treatment plant | Daugavgrīvas attīrīšanas iekārtas

When I struggle with a dilemma which photo to choose for displaying here, I follow the impulse from media news about some actual events. Today Swedish King Carl XVI Gustaf visited biological water treatment plant in Riga's northern part of Daugavgrīva. You might find it a very inaproppriate place where to entertain a king but the reason is that Sweden has donated money for reconstruction of the plant back in 1998. Last reconstruction has started in 2011 (when this photo was taken) and will soon be completed.
