Sakura blooms in Riga

Uzvaras park in Riga has got 180 sakura trees as a gift from Japan embassy. Now they've started to bloom, attracting people from all Riga. If sakuras lives so well in our climate, why not plant these beautiful trees elsewhere in the city too?
