This massive building is originally built in 1881, but as you may ask - aren't there Art Nouveau elements on it? Yes, there are! The building was reconstructed 20 years later, in 1901, when Art Nouveau started it's victory march in Riga. Thus it got those Jugendstil faces, sculptures and characteristic windows in addition.
