Townhall square. Townhall square is Riga's main historical square - it was town's administrative, political and cultural centre from medieval times until 19th Century. Nowadays it is one of most touristy places in the city, where people come to admire House of Blackheads (to the right), Townhall building (to the left) and Roland's statue (center). Just a couple of steps away there is also St Peter's church.
Rātslaukums. Rātslaukums ir Rīgas galvenais vēsturiskais laukums - tas bijis pilsētas administratīvais, politiskais un kultūras centrs no viduslaikiem līdz 19. gadsimtam. Šodien tā ir viena no Rīgas tūristu apmeklētākajām vietām, kur cilvēki nāk apbrīnot Melngalvju namu, Rātsnamu, Rolanda statuju. Netālu atrodas arī Svētā Pētera baznīca.
