One of the most interesting Functionalism architecture examples in Riga centre. Nowadays Trade Unions building, originally built in 1929 and designed by Alfrēds Kars and Kurts Betge. It has a characteristic element of European architecture of that time - lantern tower. There was planned much larger building complex which would include theatre, offices, sports and conference halls, restaurant and shops.

Viens no interesantākajiem funkcionālisma arhitektūras paraugiem Rīgas centrā. Pašreizējā arodbiedrību ēka, oriģināli celta 1929. gadā, tās autori arhitekti Alfrēds Kars un Kurts Betge. Ēkai ir raksturīgs tālaika Eiropas arhitektūras elements - laterntornis. Šajā vietā bija plānots daudz lielāks ēku komplekss, kurā būtu iekļauts teātris, biroji, sporta un sanāksmju telpas, restorāns, veikali.
