Vanšu bridge in autumn evening | Vanšu tilts rudens vakarā
Vanšu bridge is one of 5 bridges in Riga over Daugava river, connecting right and left banks of the city. The bridge was built in 1981. More than 60 000 cars passes it every day. Barbed wires are installed to protect the bridge cables against suiciders or weird people who sometimes tries to climb up on the bridge.
Vanšu tilts ir viens no pieciem Rīgas tiltiem pār Daugavu, savienojot labo un kreiso krastu. Tilts tika uzbūvēts 1981. gadā un mūsdienās to ik dienu šķērso vairāk nekā 60 000 automašīnu. Fonā redzama rietoša saule, kas laužas cauri aiz Ķīpsalas topošajām Z-torņu augstceltnēm.
