Zilsniedzītes Lielajos kapos | Siberian Squill in Great cemetery
One of first spring flowers in April are Siberian Squills and the place in Riga where they grows most is the Great Cemetery. Siberian Squill is a species of flowering plant in the family Asparagaceae, native to southwestern Russia, Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, and Turkey. Despite its name, it is not native to Siberia.
Viena no pirmajām pavasara puķēm aprīlī ir Sibīrijas zilsniedzīte. Vislielākajos daudzumos šos ziediņus Rīgā var ieraudzīt Lielajos kapos. Zilsniedzītes nemaz nav cēlušās no Sibīrijas, tās ir izplatītas Austrumeiropā, Kaukāzā, Turcijā.
