 Torna street. Torna street is located in the place where once was the border of Riga. The street originated in the end of 17th Century between the old wall of the city and the newly built fortification rampart. Nowadays it's a charming and popular pedestrian street with shops and fine restaurants on one side, and a part of historical Old Town fortification wall on the other.

  Torņa iela. Toŗna iela atrodas vietā, kur kādreiz bija Rīgas robeža - tā izveidojusies 17. gadsimta beigās starp pilsētas vecajiem mūriem un jauno nocietinājuma valni. Tagad tā ir šarmanta iela pašā Rīgas sirdī, kuru no vienas puses gandrīz visā garumā ieskauj Jēkaba kazarmu "zemesskrāpis", bet no otras puses Vecrīgas mūris un senatnīgās dzīvojamās ēkas.
