Old trains still in Riga. Riga/Latvia is one of the few (if not the only one) capital cities/countries in European Union where ONLY more than 30 years old (soviet time) trains run on the intercity routes. This means there are no single new, modern train operating here yet. However it has to finally change soon - because new trains from Škoda are already purchased and should have start to appear on the railway lines here next year (some of them is already delivered).
