At the theatre. Latvians are huge theatre lovers. I don't know if it's true in other cities around the world but in Riga almost all theatre tickets are sold out already before the start of the season (for some 9 months in advance). One can find some tickets to new productions only. Also this theatre was full of attendees when it started. Btw, it is New Riga theatre which is currently residing in temporary building while their main place is being reconstructed. Yesterday it became known that the reconstruction could delay for several more years if the government doesn't apply advance payment to the construction company... Thus the management of theatre announced their protest - they won't produce new theatres until they return to the original building.
